If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real...

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have been joyful when I should have been sad.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have been at peace when I should have been scared.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have had compassion toward others for no good reason.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have been finding fulfillment in my life when I should have seen all is meaningless.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have been living free from mental and emotional shackles when I should have been letting them drag me down.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have been spending time with wholesome, compassionate, servant-hearted people when I should have spent my time with selfish, manipulative people.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have prayed for miracles and seen incredible coincidences when I should have clung to nothing but luck.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have smiled far too often.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have wasted too much time helping people when I should have spent time on myself.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then my pursuit of excellence is a waste of my energy.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then I have been encouraged when I should have been hopeless.

If I have fallen in love with a God who isn't real... then my life has been for naught.

But if I have fallen in love with a God who is real... then not only have I lived a fulfilled life here on earth but I can look forward to eternity with the Creator of the Universe.
